Location: Cave Canem, Naama Bay Topic: chat meeting Attending ladies: 26 After a very hot summer in Sharm, the SWC ladies got together again at our monthly dinner, which took place on Monday the 3rd of September at the new "Cave Canem" Pizzeria at the Noria Resort, Naama Bay. On arrival we received lovely complimentary welcome drinks and fruits which were served by the smiley Italian owners and staff. Location: BarOne, Nabq Topic: Indian Cooking Demostration Attending ladies: 40 The March meeting was held on Monday 5th at Bar One in Nabq. It was hosted by Ann, Debbie and Jonny who looked after us very well. Many thanks. We were welcomed with a drink and all enjoyed catching up with old friends and meeting new people. Location: Sugarhut, Hadaba Topic: Chat Attending ladies: 14 Sharm Women's Group met on Monday, 6th February at 7:30pm at the Sugarhut Restaurant in Alf Leila. We totaled 14 women and as we met there we were given a welcome drink of our choice of Fruit Juice or a Rum or Vodka cocktail. Location: Oriental Resort, Nabq Topic: Tarot by Stella Attending ladies: 12 Host: Claire Minutes: Arine 12 ladies gathered in the comfortable executive lounge of the Oriental Resort. Clare organised and hosted the meeting, in which we had the following topics: Metro update, Stella the tarot reader, and an update from Clean Sharm. The Metro human resource manager for the area, Ayman and the Nabq branch manager, Magdi explained some of the recent measures taken to improve service and hygiene in both Metro branches in Sharm and Nabq. On the first Monday of the year 2009, January 5th, the Sharm Womens Club held their premiere New Year's Reception in the Ribs Restaurant in the Nuria Resort. A big thank you to the Ribs Restaurant for hosting us that evening! Around 25 women came and it was lovely to learn that quite a few of the ladies were attending their first ever SWC event ! Venue: Soho Square - Savoy Hotel/ Nabq Date: 3 November 2008 Attendence: 22 ladies Host: Arine Minutes: Marjolein We all met in the front of the Pangaea, electric bar where we were welcomed by Mr Richards and Mrs Christine of Soho Square with a welcome drink. After most of us arrived, 22 in total, Mrs Christina showed us the premises, first the ice skating ring and after the cinema where they show a film about Egyptian history. Ladies attending: 38 Our thanks to Donna and the staff from Picasso for their hospitality. We enjoyed a very pleasant evening at their place. On the committee meeting we discussed that one of the things this committee would like to do is to develop the community, in lots of ways cultural, environmental etc. So this evening was just a small step in that direction as we had Khaled explaining us about the environmental friendly water system that he can install in our homes.
