(Lisan Asfour (bird tongues), is the Arabic name for the little noodles/pasta, which look a bit like rice)

Prepare a nice hearty soup, from meat or chicken, spiced with onions, cardamom, laurel and muscat nut.
If the meat/chicken was fat, put the soup for some while in the fridge, than you can remove the fat easily.
Fry the lisan asfour noodles in some butter or samna (butter oil), until light brown (careful, they burn easy). Add to the boiling soup and let cook for 10 minutes.
Before serving sprinkle with chopped parsley.
