Concerning Dr Albert: He is known on Sharm Animal Welfare, as it Dr Hieke. Dr Albert is good in that he can be contacted day or night in most cases, and I have heard a lot of stories of his incompetence. For stray animals that need urgent attention he will come out and do what he can, but like most I am sure there are some things he is good at and others he is not! I have had people I know come to me with stories of sadness after Dr Albert has operated on their animals, but then I have also had some very good reports. It is I think up to the individual to decide which vet they prefer, and will use more often than not. I have to say that Hieke is a very good vet and I have been using her as of late. I am sure you understand that I must remain neutral on this, and I take each as I find them. Perhaps like all of us he is good at some things but not all, so it is up to you really to decide which vet you would trust your animal with, and which vet you would not.
