The mild Chinese cabbage (cromb sini) (more lettuce than cabbage) is unfortunately not often available in Sharm. But every now and than you find it at Rowa's vegetable shop in the Souq/Old Market (if you go in from Bab One, it's the first veggie shop on the left, opposite of Moda clothes shop, before the big life-chicken shop), and, a bit more often, at Sheikh Abdallah. This salad is very nourishing and can go well as a summer main course. Version 1: Take beef filet (filetto), cut it in fine stripes and fry , or Version 2: Take a good price of red meat, and make soup. Don't put the meat with the cold water, but let the soup start boiling and add it then. Ingredients 2 large size tomatoes. 2 green onions 1 bunch of parsley ,washed, chopped in large cuts 1/2 bunch of mint. 2 cucumbers chopped in large cuts. 1 smashed glove garlic 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon Salt Juice of 2 lemons 2 loaves of pita bread, cut into small pieces and toasted in the oven. Cut all the above vegetables in medium or small size, or as you wish. Mix Lemon, salt, olive oil and garlic aside and add 2-3 tablespoon water to the mixture.
