| "What can I cook today?" The dreaded standard question for many women everywhere (and a few men). For us in Sharm it is even more difficult. In Sharm, many ingredients we used to get at home, are still not available here or are just too expensive. Many yummy sounding recipes are of little use, as "a piece of lemon grass / a zip of sherry / a ready marinated Sauerbraten" or other non-available items are required. So the infamous "daily housewife question" is even more difficult to solve for Sharmers. This page publishes only recipes with ingredients or their proven substitutes, which we can find in Sharm and are reasonably priced.
