On May 23, 2007 the SWC celebrated it's 7th anniversary with a TROPICAL NIGHT at the beach of the GRAND ROTANA RESORT & SPA. More than 60 people celebrated the 7th birthday of the club (after a frustrating late ticket sale....) at an outstanding beautiful place, with hot music, great food and a dazzling and contagious dance show by Sharm’s “Queen of Dance” Maria Mota and Kris (thanks a lot to the two of you!!!). Maria even got many of us to do the Samba and Salsa – with much less talent, but lots of fun instead!
The atmosphere was enhanced by the colourful costumes many ladies had – grass skirts, flower necklaces, feathery and fruity hairdo’s brought Caribbean and Hawaiian feelings to the Sinai beach.
Thank you very much to the team of the Grand Rotana Spa & Resort, who offered the beautiful location and a great buffet!
And thank you very much to our many sponsors! Every woman went home with a gift voucher – Several of us will enjoy weeksends in hotels all over Egypt (and even in Jordan), we had great vouchers from restaurants (Sharm, Dahab and Cairo), spas, and hairdresses; desert and dive safaris could be done; shops and doctors gave, diving centers, a bowling center, and and and - the list is long....
